Aston Martin has lifted the curtain on its new concept Speedster CC100 marking the 100th anniversary of the company. The Aston Martin CC100 Speedster, meaning Concept Car 100 years, is also a tribute to the 1959 Le Mans winning Aston Martin DBR1. Race car that takes the classic two-seat speedster.
Built on the platform of the V12 Vantage, Aston Martin CC100 can also be considered a tribute to the smallest Aston Martin V12 models. Last but not least, Aston Martin says the study tips are the potential future design direction of the brand.
The fully functional prototype just debuted at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, where he was given a demonstration lap piloted by the head of Aston Martin, Ulrich Bez, together with a DBR1 driven by Sir Stirling Moss.

Designed and built in less than six months, the CC100 combines Aston Martin DBR1 concept with modern design details Aston Martin, as the enlarged grille, the side vents strakes and the powerful back style reminiscent of the V12 Zagato.

The Aston Martin CC100 Speedster is powered by the latest generation AM11 naturally aspirated V12 engine 6.0 liter petrol manual transmission mated to a sequential six-speed automatic that is controlled via shift paddles mounted on the steering column.
The V12 power unit was not disclosed, but it is powerful enough to move to Aston Martin CC100 from 0-62 mph in just over 4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 180 mph (290 kph).
