VW Touareg name is inspired by a nomadic people living in North Africa, last year got a new design, which was part of the muscle attraction worth seeing, adding more detail and car-like appearance smoother in general. The grill and front end are now more as a line of VW passenger car and a body of forces slightly wider than the print. The two combine for an impressive 380 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, enough to generate this Touareg to catapult from zero to 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds, according to Edmunds tests.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gives the Touareg Top Safety Pick award, which means that "good" ratings in all relevant evidence received. However, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has not re-tested the Touareg since the redesign. 2012 Volkswagen Touareg all comes with ABS disc brakes, stability control and traction for hill-hold assist, front seat side airbags and full length curtain airbags.
