Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV produced by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana in Princeton, Indiana. It is derived from the Toyota Tundra pickup truck but differs in the use of independent rear suspension. It is priced between the mid-size 4Runner and the mainstay of the Toyota Land Cruiser SUV. Both the Sequoia and Land Cruiser seats eight passengers, Sequoia, but is slightly larger than the Land Cruiser, provides greater leg room for a real third row, and more cargo capacity behind the third row.
2012 Toyota Sequoia will continue to be offered in three trim levels: SR5, Limited and Platinum Trailer sway control is a new standard feature for all models, and blind spot warning system is standard on the Platinum trim level.
Toyota Sequoia sport form of two boxes, but do not have a bump strips on the side door. Most of the interior design and controls carry over from the big Tundra pickup, which is not necessarily a good thing; controls and buttons almost cartoonishly large at times, yet lightweight and plasticky to touch. While well-designed interior, seats and trim looks and feels rather cheap, too. 2012 Toyota Sequoia for solid build quality and comfort of the chair, but some low-quality materials reduces the otherwise well-made interior. The second row slides out of the way when you lift the lever, making it easy to get to the third row seats. Big buttons dominate the center of the dash air conditioning. Sitting room in the 2012 Toyota Sequoia is actually quite good, the first two lines are airy and generously proportioned chair, for a greater America.
There are two V-8 engines are offered on a Toyota Sequoia - a 310-horsepower, 4.7-liter V-8 and five-speed automatic, or 381-hp, 5.7-liter V-8 and six-speed automatic - and it makes sense to go with a larger one. one test driver noted that the reluctance of the transmission to downshift sometimes makes the engine feel less powerful than the truth. Sequoia has a maximum tow rating £ 7,400.
Highway Safety has not tested the Toyota Sequoia good. Toyota Sequoia is equipped with the tools to anticipate unwanted vehicles. Knee airbags help to protect passengers from serious lower limb injury in an accident. Front and rear parking sensors are optional. ABS brakes automatically sense, and will modulate the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate. Side impact airbags for front seat
If the size for adults is important to you, Ford Expedition need to be considered, the cost is less than Sequoia, although fuel economy is not much better. If you need an SUV that can carry a ton of people or goods, but has a better fuel than Sequoia, GMC Yukon Hybrid will need to consider as well. The price is almost the same as the Toyota Sequoia Limited
